Social Media Mindfulness

A 30-Day Digital Detox for Girls

Would you like your daughter to put down her phone & join the family again?

Are you worried she is spending too much time on social media?

I thought so.

Do you wish things could go back to the way they were before she had her phone?

Do you wish she wasn't so obsessed with social media?

Are you sick of the fights over her phone?

***You are in the right spot.***

Social Media Mindfulness was created to help girls realize how much they are missing out on when they are glued to their phones.

Social Media Mindfulness is a step-by-step, 30-day digital detox for girls just like your daughter who have become a little too obsessed with social media. More than just taking a break from social media, Social Media Mindfulness can help her:

  • improve relationships
  • strengthen her self-control
  • descrease anxiety and stress
  • learn to live in the present moment
  • feel overall happier & capable of achieving her dreams

Social Media Mindfulness is about more than taking a break from her phone... it's about helping her recognize that social media has become too much of a priority in her life & teaching her how to get her life back.

I know what a battle it can cause when you take her phone away, and while it may help in the short term, it isn't practical (or even possible) to keep her away from social media forever.

Social media isn't going anywhere, making it important to teach your daughter how to strike a healthy balance between her real life and her virtual one.

But parenting in a digital world is tough!

Social Media Mindfulness is a 30-day detox course designed to help your daughter evaluate how much time she spends on social media.

And the best part?

Social Media Mindfulness is a learning opportunity not a punishment.

You don't have to be the bad guy.

IMAGINE IF...

Imagine if she put her phone away during family time without having to be asked.

Imagine if she understood that her real life relationships are more important than her online ones.

Imagine if she would choose family time over hiding out in her bedroom?

Imagine if you could have your daughter back.

As a National Board Certified high school teacher and certified life coach for teens, I know firsthand how difficult life can be for a teenager. Everyday, I see girls struggle with body image issues, low self-esteem, school and academic stress, social pressures, and friendship drama. As a life coach, I help kids navigate their teen years by giving them tools and strategies that increase their self-esteem and help them make healthy decisions so one day they’ll look back and say, “I loved being a teenager.” It is my personal goal to see to it that teens have a fair shot at enjoying high school, and are able to build strong foundations that lead to happy, successful lives.

"I would encourage everyone to do the Social Media Mindfulness Course, where Jamie skillfully guides and teaches teens to be present and live in the present, without the constant 'noise' of social media. An essential course for all families with teen or pre-teen girls."

- Jessica Giuffre, Teen Wisdom Certified Coach

"Social Media Mindfulness was amazing and should be required for all teenagers. I am so thankful my daughter had the opportunity to take this class. The focus on gratitude, meaningful connections, being aware of your emotions throughout the day- all such powerful messages for our world. We had great conversations about those topics as a family, and I see my daughter using social media less than before. Thank you so much for having such a positive impact on our daughters!"

- Marcie P., mom of teenage participant

"Social Media Mindfulness is a thoughtful program and my daughter was very self-motivated to participate and journal. It was a nice opportunity to help her think about the use and impacts of social media."

"I think everyone should do Social Media Mindfulness! Living in the moment and not on social media is waht we all should be doing more of! Life is short and precious and in the end it's not going to matter how many "followers or likes," we have."

- Julie, mom of teenage participant

"My daughter and I have both grown as individuals and learned a lot about each other throughout Social Media Mindfulness. As a parent, I've learned to trust and believe in my daughter's abilities to make a decision for her own good. I loved the way we became closer by opening up about everything. Social Media Mindfulness is a great way to connect and have a full conversation about anything."

- Kayla, teenage participant

"I actually enjoyed Social Media Mindfulness! I've been meaning to do a self-detox but I couldn't seem to make myself do it so this definitely helped. I learned that social media isn't very important and I have better things to do now. Being OFF my phone is way easier to do than I thought!"

Frequently Asked Questions

When would she start the 30-day detox?
She can start tomorrow, or on any day that works for your family. As soon as you have printed the workbook, and watched the parent video, your daughter is welcome to get started. There is also no harm in waiting until the start of a new week or until you get back from vacation. The 30-day detox is self-guided and works no matter when she begins.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 45 days and we will give you a full refund. We just ask that she does the work. If she's watched the videos, completed the workbook, and tried the challenges & you still feel she hasn't made any changes, we will be happy to give you a refund.
What if my daughter hates the idea of doing the detox?
That most likely means she needs it... badly. We encourage parents not to make Social Media Mindfulness a punishment. Having a smart phone is a privilege, not a right. Ask her to think of the detox as an expiriment, not a punishment. TIP: do the detox with her! Use the journal prompts as conversation starters and we promise you will learn a ton about each other in the process.
Does she have to go 30-days without her phone?
Nope! Here is how it breaks down: Week 1: notice your social media habits Week 2: cut back a bit Week 3: No social media for 7 days Week 4: Back on social media, but with a healthier perspective.
